We presently assist with spay/neuter for pets of qualified pet owners in Mesquite, NV and the Arizona Strip communities of Scenic, Littlefield, Beaver Dam and Desert Springs, AZ.  Funds are limited and are allocated to help those who truly need assistance. Based on funding availability, we assist with Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) of  feral cats.  You can help save feral cats in your neighborhood by becoming their caregiver and getting them spayed and neutered.  

WCFA does not have its own facility.  All of our animals are in foster care until adopted.  Please note that WCFA and the Mesquite Animal Shelter are two separate entities.  The Mesquite Animal Shelter is operated by the City of Mesquite Animal Control. 

As part of our adoption process, WCFA screens potential adopters and make home checks prior to adoption.  All adopters must complete and sign an Application to Adopt.  When an adoption is approved, an Adoption Agreement and adoption fee completes the process.  Adoption fees are $120 for puppies and dogs under 5 years of age; $55 for dogs over five years; $40 for kittens and cats.  Adoption fee covers spay/neuter and initial vaccinations.   Click here to view our pets in need of good homes.
